DELTA FEST is a convening designed to strengthen the Deep South’s economic ecosystem by advancing ownership, entrepreneurship, and community-centered investment.
Launched as part of a long-term strategy to build pathways to prosperity by 2035, Delta FEST brings together entrepreneurs, creatives, investors, developers, philanthropists, corporate leaders, and community builders from across the region and beyond. In its most recent convening, more than 3,200 participants from 20 countries and four continents engaged both in person and online to exchange ideas, resources, and strategies that support inclusive economic growth.
Structured to move beyond conversation into action, Delta FEST features practical learning sessions, peer-to-peer networking, and opportunities to connect directly with decision-makers. Programming is intentionally designed to support real-world application, enabling participants to leave with tools, relationships, and insights they can use to advance economic opportunity in their own communities.
Participants consistently highlight the accessibility and depth of engagement as a defining feature of Delta FEST. Attendees have the opportunity to interact directly with mayors, funders, subject-matter experts, and community leaders in an environment that encourages collaboration and candid exchange.
Delta FEST is organized by HOPE, in collaboration with Yancey Consulting, and supported by partners and funders who are actively invested in the communities they serve. These supporters include The Ford Foundation, Wells Fargo, Capital One, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, Goldman Sachs, the Nathan Cummings Foundation, and others who contribute not only resources, but active participation.
The work of Delta FEST continues beyond the event itself, fueling ongoing collaboration and investment across the Deep South.
